the moral foundations theory was developed by jonathan haidt, jesse graham, and craig joseph, among many other collaborators, and popularized through haidt’s 2011 book the righteous mind.

synthesizing multidisciplinary insights on morality, their model suggests there are (at least) six moral foundations that underlie our determinations of right and wrong
